A few of the club members attended the 1st Annual Colfax Cruise. This was something new that the OCCC
(Old Car Council of Colorado) put on with a bunch on sponsors and a local radio station. The Cruise was to
take place over the 26 miles of Colfax Ave basically from one end of Denver to the other. There were three
festival stops along the way.
Members met up and started from the east side heading west. We spent a little too much time at the first
festival so the Cruise was winding down by the time we made it to the third stop. There were so many cars
there we just had to stay. Enjoy the pics.
|Member cars - Joe and Lori's Cutlass, Ron Madds H/O and James and Rose's
Jetstar. Rose even brought her new classic Mustang but I didn't get a shot of it.
|Some pretty nice rides at stop 1
and a full field.
|It was getting pretty dark at the
last stop but these flames sure
looked cool on this hot rod.
|East High was the second festival stop
and was loaded with cars.
|Next year should be an even bigger event.
